I recently joined Ipsy and I fell in love. I have gotten 6 Glam Bags and I want to share with all of you my thoughts and opinions

Ipsy is a subscription service, you can go month-to-month or you can pay for the entire year. I paid month-to-month, so it is $10 a month and I live in Canada so I pay $4.95 for shipping, so I pay $14.95 per month.
My friend told me about Ipsy about a year ago but I was hesitant to try it. I don't wear makeup all the time, at the time I wasn't wearing makeup daily . I was at home with Kayden all day and I wasn't going out and about. You are probably wondering what changed my mind. Kayden was starting school and I knew I had to step up my game. That means I had to wear makeup a little more often and put on something besides sweat pants. I decided to give Ipsy a try and I haven't looked back since.
Every month their makeup bag has a theme and the products reflect that theme. For instance, one month was all about summertime Essentials, so the makeup bag was bright and colorful and the five products you got reflected the essentials. You do a quiz about the makeup products you prefer, skin type, hair type Etc. Every month they pick five samples for you reflective of your choices and preferences. Please keep in mind they don't always cater to your choices so you may get one or two items that is not on your preference list. This has happened to me, but I was so happy because it introduced me to products that I ended up falling in love with. You can always change your preferences, so you are never locked into anything.
I like that my makeup bag is always a range of items. I have never gotten a bag just full of makeup, which you can do. I've always received some skin care, makeup and nail polish just to name a few. I love that every month I have five new items that I can throw into my makeup routine. I enjoy is the ability to try products without having to buy it. If you are like me, you don't have hundreds of dollars to throw on makeup a month. Ipsy is good at having product that everyone Raves about online and putting it in your bag which lets you sample without having to commit. The samples are a very good size. I have yet to go through one full sample of a product, and there have been times when I've gotten full-size products so my glam bag was worth over $20.
I would recommend this bag for anyone who likes makeup. My friend is a makeup junkie and she can't get enough of the products. As I mentioned earlier, she is able to try a lot of products she wouldn't normally be able to purchase by herself. For someone like me, I love that my bag is reflective of who I am as a person. While I enjoy makeup I also get lots of other body care products and every month it's a little present to myself.
