Ab Exercises

Friday 29 April 2016
One of the things I love and dread at the same time is working out. I work out at home, because it is more convenient for me and fits my schedule and lifestyle. I switch up my workouts weekly and work out on weekdays. There are so many benefits to working on your core. The first one is, it can help with your back pain. I suffer from scoliosis, so anything to alleviate the pain i feel on a daily basis is a plus. Your abs support your spine, and the tilt of your pelvis. Therefore it controls you going forward and backward, if you lean either way to the extreme it can cause excess strain. You'll have a better posture, increase  your metabolism and help carry you throughout the day. Which means that throughout the day your abs support your body, and if they aren't strong, other muscles kick in to help support you.

Here are my top 3 ab workouts

1. Crunches
I love these! there are so many different variations you can do which challenge you. I can always guarantee a burn when doing oblique crunches. they tone the rectus abdominus  and oblique muscles.
You can the basic sit up, with your feet planted on the ground, or you can raise one leg off the ground. My favorite is having both legs raised off the ground, and crossing them.

2.V-Ups
When I first did these a few weeks ago, I hated these, but I have learned to love them. They burn!  This is amazing because they work your entire mid section!

3. The teaser
This works your entire stomach area as well. As easy as this move appears to be, it is not.after 10 I am exhausted. I always start off slow and try to pick up the pace to make it more intense.

A lot of people believe that if you just do ab exercises you will get a flat tummy. I can tell you from experience, it flattens it a bit, and does tone it, but this alone will not decrease your tummy fat completely. You need to do a variation of exercises. whether it is lifting weights or doing cardio.

My Clothing Essentials

Thursday 28 April 2016
Since becoming a mom, my wardrobe and what I consider staples in my wardrobe has changed quite a bit. It's all about loose comfortable clothing around the house, where I can clean, run after my son and kick back and relax in. I am going to list a few of my favorite things that I think every mom needs

Maxi Dresses
I gave onto this trend last summer and I never looked back. I love how it hugs close to your body but it isn't tight and it is long enough that I don't have to worry about certain parts being exposed if I bend over. There are so many different styles and patterns to choose from. Part of my hesitation was that I am petite, so a lot of maxi dresses would drag on the floor since they were to long. I found the perfect one at fairweather, so if I can find a dress that fits my height, there is one for you!
Here is the link of the one I have, ironically it is on sale for a $1
http://www.fairweather.ca/product.php?c=clothing&s=dresses&id=4029&page=o&at=maxi

Stretchy Pants
I love wearing comfortable pants when I am at home or just running around my area with my son. Track pants can get annoying and look frumpy. My mom introduced me to Joe Fresh active wear and I have fallen in love.It is as comfortable as a pair of sweatpants but it is fitted in all the right areas and it isn't baggy. I look put together at the park, or when someone pops by, and I am still comfortable.
www.joefresh.com

Flats
As a mom wearing heels isnt always an option, but I still want to look fashionable and put together. Flats is the easy answer. You can find them in any store and evem find some with a little heel, which helps add a little height without worrying about balancing. I can slip them on and off, and I have them in a few colors to go with my wardrobe. Last year I picked up some new ones from walmart since they were having a sale and havent regreted it. Nowadays you can even get some that are dressy, so if heels arent your thing, or you need more, there is some for every occasion.

CrossBody Bag
I picked this up when I was pregnant. My boyfriend recommended this for me, since carrying around a big purse wouldn't be practical once a baby came along, and he was right.  A crossbody bag allows me to take my essentials ( keys, wallet, phone etc,) while keeping me hands free. I never worry about leaving my purse in the shopping cart, or lets face it, with a toddler you need to think fast, and now I don't have to worry about putting my purse down to catch something that is falling, or running to his aid..It stays out of my way while getting the job done.Mine is from Nine West and cost around $60 on sale.

Military Jacket
I got this before I was pregnant but it is one of my staples. It is loose and comfortable but you can still see my shape. Mine is in a light green and is a great transitional piece from winter to spring and from summer to fall. It is one of those pieces that comes back every season and is it easy to match with any outfit. Mine has drawstrings on the side, so I was able to wear it during my pregnancy. I got mine from Banana Republic and similar to the one here
http://bananarepublic.gapcanada.ca/browse/product.do?cid=1027264&vid=1&pid=184405003

Mine is a lighter green, with a different material and a hood but it is the same style

Hope these items help build your wardrobe or inspire you to pick something up at the store!

What I Ate Wednesday (4/27/2016)

Wednesday 27 April 2016
Welcome back to another what I ate Wednesday, I'm back to my healthy lifestyle and trying to get back in the swing of things.

I started my day off with a cup of coffee and a homemade fruit parfait. I used plain stirred yogurt, with chocolate protein granola and sliced bananas on top. This is a breakfast I have started having for the past few days. I love bananas on mine, but you can use any fruit you have.

For my morning snack I had a samosa with a glass of water

For lunch I had rice with green peas (which my mom made) and yogurt on the side, with a glass of water.

For my afternoon snack I had plain green tea, with 2 dates and no sugar added yogurt and the flavor was key lime pie.

Dinner was a favorite of my boyfriends. It was homemade orange chicken with homemade vegetable fried rice. My boyfriend deep fried the chicken while I made the sauce and rice.

Stuffed Chicken

Tuesday 26 April 2016
Hey Guys!

Im back with another receipe, and today it is stuffed chicken. This is another family favorite and a receipe that I made my own with my own experimentation and some ideas from my boyfriend's mother.

Here are the things you will need

Chicken Breasts
Cream Cheese
Green Peppers
Onion
Parsely
Bacon (Optional)

I usually make 3 chicken breasts so my boyfriend can take it to work the next day.
I cut the chicken breasts to make a pocket, so the stuffing can go in
I do 1 tbsp of cream cheese for every chicken breast.
mix cream cheese, diced green peppers and diced onions
Stuff each chicken breast. I like to stuff it till it is overflowing and sprinkle parsley on top
If you want you can wrap each chicken breast in bacon

Put in a 450 degree oven for 30-40 min

My chicken comes out moist every time, and everyone loves it. I have done it with just cream cheese as well, but when I add the vegetables it makes it a little more filling so much more flavor.

I hope you all try this recipe! Happy Cooking

Kayden's Favorite Toys

Monday 25 April 2016
Hey Guys!

As kayden has gotten older, he has gotten more into toys and books. I have noticed him gravitating towards the same kind of toys, which has made it a lot easier for me to pick out toys for him. I'm going to list his top 3 favorite toys and hopefully this gives you all some ideas for your toddler!

1. Blocks
Building blocks was Kayden's addiction for the longest time. It taught him hand eye coordination and sparked his creativity. It comes with different sizes of blocks, and a train you can assemble. At first Kayden couldn't put it together, but I would spend about 20 minutes everyday with him before his nap and he got a hang of it in no time. He loves piling them up high to make a tower, then crashing them all down.Kayden has a habit of putting all the blocks together, then taking them apart as well, and finding different angles that he can put the blocks together.  He also loves when I push the train towards him, he will run after it and giggles with delight as it zooms past him. This is a toy that he can continue to play with as he gets older, he can start to build more intricate designs and buildings.
The link I have provided isn't the exact one he has, but it is similar.

2.

Vtech - Alphabet Activity Cube - English Edition - VTech - Babies"R"Us

This Vtech Alphabet Activity Cube has everything you can imagine. It helps teach them letters, colors, shapes etc. The blocks are my favorite part, because children can put them on top to stack them, or put them in the slot to hear the letter ( kayden hasn't gotten a hang of that as yet) It has piano keys which he loves, and has been an easy way to introduce him to colors, and every key is a different color. It has a storage area and a maze. My son got this shortly after he learned how to stand and it helped strengthen his legs because he was always pulling himself up to play with this. His favorite side is the piano keys because he loves music and would play music for a long time! Regardless of what your child is into, there is a side that will appeal to them.

Magic Star Learning Table - VTech - Babies"R"Us

3. This is the Magic Star Learning table, which he is also in love with. This also comes with a play phone, and dialpad. It has a pretend steering wheel which makes the bear go around in the middle of the table, the better your child gets at turning it around the faster the bear goes. It also has a horn in the middle with a gear shift beside it. As your child shifts the gear forward it sounds like the car is going faster, which is lifelike. There is a pretend book, and as your child turns the page,  it plays a popular song. There is also 3 keys which light up and play music. This toy is a lot more fun then the previous one, because it plays songs that kayden knows, and he loves the pretend car. He loves seeing the bear go around as he is turning the steering wheel. There is a lot more on this table that he enjoys whereas with the previous one, it is only one side that keeps him engaged.

Green Tea & other Teas....

Friday 22 April 2016
Hey Guys,

For the past few years I have had an addiction to Green tea. A few years ago when I was on a health kick, and was the healthiest I have ever been, is when I really got into it. There are many health benefits of green tea, but a lot of people are turned off by the taste. What really helped me is adding honey ( 1 tsp) which sweetened it up, and allowed it to be more bearable. But today, I drink it plain. Here are some benefits of green tea....

Aid in weightloss
It can help speed up your metabolism and increases the rate in which you burn fat. I also found, that I was less bloated when I drink this on a regular basis. I drink green tea an hour before dinner and I find I am less hungry.
Help you live longer
Prevent certain types of Cancer
High caffeine level (good substitute for coffee)
Make you smarter
Help prevent Alzheimer and Parkinson
Help prevent diabetes
Help with your oral health

With all these added benefits why wouldn't you pick up some green tea next time you are at the store? From personal experience it has helped me a lot. I use to drink it before I went to bed, and even though there is a high caffeine level, I found it helped me sleep better. About 30 min after I drank it, I would feel sleepy. The only down side is that I would constantly run to the bathroom. Now I drink it about an hour before I eat dinner. It helps me eat less during dinner time, and help give me the extra boost I need to take me through the rest of my day. I feel less bloated since it is an antioxidant. It helps get rid of the excess water, since it makes you go to the bathroom, you feel lighter and your stomach feels better.

Some of the other tea's I enjoy, is chai tea and orange pekoe. One of the great things I love about tea, is that it is like a warm hug. At the end of the day, when you are winding down, and just want to relax, a cup of tea is sure to hit the spot. There are tea's for everything, sweet tea, spicy tea's, tea to help you sleep, be regular etc. Find what work's for you and give it a shot!

Have a great weekend you guys!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nailpolish

Thursday 21 April 2016
Hey guys!

As a mom I am always on the go, and running around, but I still want to look put together. Towards the end of my pregnancy painting my nails was such a hassle and one of the last things to do on my list since it was so time consuming. That is when by fluke I discovered Sally Hansen insta-dri nail polish.
This nail polish is dry within 5-10 minutes, and they have every shade imaginable. These nail polishes have been a life saver after I had my son. I paint my nails when he has gone down for the night, and I am done painting my nails in an hour and a half. I do 2 coats on my toes, and 3 on my hands with a top coat and sometimes I add a decal.
There are shades for ever season, you get brights, darks and neutrals, and they last a long time. If I do a top coat it lasts for over 7 days! The quick drying formula is amazing, there have been times when Kayden has woken up and I need to run into his room, or I need to do something and I never have to worry about my nails smudging.
If any of you are in a rush, or don't have the patience to sit still, then this is the product for you. At my local Walmart they cost $4.28 but I can often find them on sale.

What I ate Wednesday (4/20/2016)

Hey Guys!
Welcome back to another what I ate Wednesday , today is my boyfriend's birthday so there was lots of good food eaten.

For breakfast I just had coffee, we were not sure if we were going to go out for dinner/lunch since it was my boyfriend's birthday. We were out the night before and was letting Kayden sleep in, by the time Kayden woke up, lunch was the best option.

For lunch we went to Kelsey's and it was amazing. We had an amazing waiter and ate great food. For an appetizer we ordered nachos and they were delicious! Whenever i go out to eat I usually eat a wrap/sandwich, because I'm addicted to them. My boyfriend and I decided to order to sandwiches and split them in half. He got the chicken Cesar wrap( I think that is what it is called), and I got the two handed steak sandwich. In my honest opinion, the steak sandwich was horrible. It was dry, and chewy, not enjoyable at all. We ordered a side of french fries. We don't usually order a meal for Kayden, since his appetite isn't big enough to order a kids meal, so he usually just nibbles off of our plate. I also drank 4 glasses of water!

I forgot to take a picture of our dinner, because I was so busy. One of Curtis's friend stopped by and we ordered pizza and wings from Pizza hut. I also drank 2 glasses of water

The last thing we ate was birthday cake. It was from Iana bakery and it was delicious! We had ordered from there the first year we were together and they are amazing. They custom make your cake however you want. This year we did a simple cake, since we were doing a low scale birthday for Curtis, for personal reasons. We got a lemon cake, since that is his favorite flavor.

Pesto Pasta

Tuesday 19 April 2016
It's no secret that I love pasta, but a homemade lasagna or a meat pasta can be quite heavy during the spring/summer months. My go to pasta is noodles with grilled chicken, pesto and feta.

I take 2-3 chicken breasts and throw them on the grill. I season them with seasoning salt, parsley, pepper and a tiny bit of oregano.
Take whichever noodles you like, (my family loves corkscrew pasta), and boil them to your desire.
When the chicken is done chop it into pieces, and add to the drained pasta.
Mix in pesto( I do half the container because I love pesto) and add crumbled feta.

I add a salad or garlic bread depending on what my family wants.

Hope you all try this recipe yourself!!

Sprin/gSummer ideas

Monday 18 April 2016
With the warm weather creeping up on us, it got me thinking about all the activities Kayden will be up to, and decided to share some of our activities with you.

1. The park
We have so much fun there and our dog Buddy can tag along as well. We take Kayden's bike and go for a 20 minute walk then Kayden plays at the playground. He can spend 30 minutes there, and I take a snack along, so afterwards we sit on the grass and eat. He loves the slide, swing and how the sand feels. Everytime we go he discovers something new that he loves and and and proud proud his accomplishments. He is already going down the big boy slide.

2. Splash Pad
We have a few near us and have always wanted to try it out. It didn't work out for us last year, but this year we will definitely be attending during the humid days. There's a few water stations.     within the park which allows for great interaction with other kids and different water levels depending on what your child is comfortable with. Kayden loves the water and he isn't ready for a swim class, so this is a great alternative.

3. Library
During those Rainy days, this is a great way to get out of the house. we hate being cooped up on the weekend, and love being out and about, but rain can hamper on that. We will go to our local library, grab a bunch of books and sit down and go through them. Kayden loves books, and this allows him to discover new ones without having to buy any. We check out a few, that he is obsessed with. Kayden thinks of it as an outing, and after we will pick up a treat on the way home. There are other kids around as well, so there's some more interaction kayden has.

4. Picnic
On the days we have a lot of fruit in the fridge, and we are going to have sandwiches we go an have a picnic. It is so easy, and convenient. We pack sandwiches , drinks, snacks etc and we have a full meal. We grab some blankets to sit on and some toys. The park we go to have big trees near the playground which is perfect. We sit outdoors, eat our lunch then Kayden gets to play. Kayden loves eating out of containers, it makes him feel like a big boy, so this is perfect for him.

These are a few ideas of what we do together on a regular basis. My son is 18 months so a small adventure like this means the world to him. He usually comes home pooped and goes down without a fight. Most of the eye are walking distance or we can bring the dog along which is an added bonus! I hope this gives you some ideas!

How to stay motivated

Friday 15 April 2016
Hey guys!

It's the day before the weekend, and I know the last thing a lot of you want to do is hit the gym. During the course of my workout journey i have done it all. I have worked out at the gym, and at home, lifted weights, did cardio and strength building. At the end of the day, I didn't find something that fit till a few months ago, which is working out at home. I never thought you could get a good workout in my living room, but boy, was I wrong. Often I'm drenched in sweat and sore the next day. Most importantly, it worked for my new lifestyle as a mom. I was able to workout whenever Kayden went down, and my boyfriend's schedule changed every 3 months, so I was able to work my schedule around his.
Here are a few idea to keep you on track

1. Have work out clothes
I know this may not seem important, but wearing the right gear gets you in the right mindset. You don't need to spend a lot of money, there are a lot of stores that are noticing more of a demand  for this. You can go to walmart, target, old navy etc. there is something for every price point. I personally splurge on items that are important to me, so sports bras. I have gotten my leggings and shorts from old navy, and i've never had an issue with it, it's good quality and it's lasted for 3 years, and are in good condition.

2. Find what you like to do
Whether its cardio, wight lifting, pilates etc. find out what you enjoy doing, this will make you want to workout and allow you to stay consistent. If you can find a few activities you are enjoy, I do workouts from home 5 days a week that focus on butt, abs and legs, and go out for walks as well which allows me to do light cardio. If you can switch it up it allows the workout to feel fresh and new, which will make you want to workout daily.

3. Have a goal
Set a goal for how often you want to workout. For me I do a structured workout 5 days a week. Often I will do other activities on the weekend, ( going on walks, playing outside with my son etc,) which gives me some bonus exercise. If you are starting out workout out for 2-3 days a week and build up from there, you don't want to jump in full throttle because it can be overwhelming. 30 minutes should be the minimum amount of workout time, and then you can build it up if you choose to do so/when you get more comfortable.

4. Remember its a journey
Don't beat yourself up if after a week or a few days you look at yourself in the mirror and don't see the body you want to see. It is true what they say, eat healthy and workout and the results will come in. I use to count calories and stress over every little thing I ate. Overtime I have changed how I eat gradually, and stopped stressing over my calorie count and I really noticed changes. As soon as you start working out your body changes internally, and after 4 weeks your body is getting stronger and 6 weeks till you see changes. Keep with it, and you will see how much energy, and physical changes that come with it.

Hope this helped you guys out, TGIF! See you all monday...

Favourite Makeup Products

Thursday 14 April 2016
Hey guys!

so every spring and summer I go through my makeup bag, and I can't help but gravitate towards the same products time and time again. I've been wearing makeup since high school (grade 9), and I made a lot of mistakes, and it took a long time before I knew which products worked for me. I am going to go through the products in order that I apply them. My skin changes through the seasons, in fall/winter I have extremely dry skin and in spring/summer it turns oily.

I have gotten back into priming my face and have noticed a big difference. I have tried a few but I love the Maybelline instant age rewind primer. it goes on clear, and it is a gel formula. I always wait atleast 2 minutes before applying my foundation afterwards. I love how long lasting my foundation stays, even if I don't use a setting spray, and my foundation glides on.  You can check it out at www.maybelline.com

For about 5 years now I have been using the same foundation. Which is clinique stay matte foundation in neutral. I love it. Even if I don't use a primer it stays on for a long time, and it is a medium coverage. A little bit goes a long way, and I love how natural it looks. I do not like dewy skin, because I feel as though I look oily, so this is perfect for me. It costs $32, but it lasts a long time, I have only repurchased this once.

http://www.clinique.ca/product/1599/21954/Makeup/Foundations/Stay-Matte-Oil-Free-Makeup

The concealer I am about to mention is my holy grail. I have searched for so long for a concealer that won't settle in my fine lines, covers my dark circles and brightens under my eyes. I am talking about, benefit cosmetics boi-ing. I found out about this concealer almost 4 years ago, and I am obsessed with it. I have tried going back to another concealer and i am not satisfied. This concealer is creamy, and it glides onto your skin. It is so easy to blend out and lasts a long time. I have recently started using a setting powder, and when using it, it takes the concealer to another level. It is long lasting, and a product which never fails me. You can build it up or use a minimal amount, depending on the look you are going for and it works wonders! I can not get enough of this, and I am so happy I found this concealer, because I will never use anything else. I am in shade 02. You can get this from a lot of places, depending where you live, drugstores and sephora is a sure place you can purchase it. It goes for about 26$, the only downside is that there isn't a wide range of shades. When i first purchased it there was only 3 shades available and now there is 5.

http://www.sephora.com/boi-ing-indistrial-strength-full-coverage-concealer-P1273?country_switch=ca&lang=en

I am not picky about eye shadows and I have never had an issue with it smudging. I apply concealer on my lids before hand and then proceed with the color. Right now I am using the hard candy pallets, which have shimmery shades. I have never had an issue with it smudging, they have stayed put in the heat, sweat and for long periods of time. They have a good price point, I got my pallet for 12$ from walmart.

For mascara I have tried all kinds, and its a tie between Maybelline great lash and L'oreal voluminous both in black. The last mascara I used was L'oreal, and when it was done I had a few others in my makeup bag, and I was so disappointed. Maybelline and L'oreal does a great job is making my lashes stand out, extending them, and I never felt as though I needed false lashes. I loved how full and healthy they looked. They were easy to remove, all I needed was some eye makeup remover and I was done. I never had an issue with flaking, and my boyfriend always complimented my lashes. These two brands are a must in my makeup bag. I have black lashes that are already full, but I do like my lashes to be a little dramatic and stand out, and I feel as though these 2 brands do a great job. Maybelline Great Lash can be purchased for about $5, whereas L'oreal voluminous can go for $7. They both can be found at any drugstore.

Blush is something that I love adding to my face because it adds color. I am light skinned so I can easily look washed out, and sick if I dont add color to my face.I love physician Formula blush in soft rose. There are multiple colors in compact, which gives a natural flush to the cheeks. You can build up the color if you want, or do something subtle. They claim you can contour and highlight with it, but I don't do that at all. It is around $16 .

http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-ca/productdetail/face/blush/02675.html

My favorite bronzer is Laguna by Nars. This bronzer is amazing. I love using it in the spring/summer because it adds such a nice subtle glow and color to my face. I do not look fake or orange, and I look like I've been in the sun. I have recently hit pan on this, after having this for over 5 years!! there is a slight shimmer to it, but I don't see any sparkles on my face. It is quite expensive, but I do believe it is worth every penny. I have often heard people complain about looking orange or fake and I have never had this issue at all. I use a light amount on my face which looks so natural.

http://www.sephora.com/bronzing-powder-P12790?skuId=537878

If you havent already been able to tell, I love natural colors, and my lipstick is no different. My favorite lipstick shade is called tiramisu from estee lauder. this lipstick is so natural on your lips and just enhances it.It is extremly moistuzing and a little goes a long way. I usually don't have to touch it up during the day.

Hope I was able to help you all out, and inspire you all to try something new!!

What I Ate Wednesday (04/13/2016)

Wednesday 13 April 2016
Today started off with a basic breakfast. I had shreddies with whole milk ( it is what we have in the house because of our toddler) and coffee

For lunch I had rajma chawal with yogurt, which is an indian dish. I had made basmati rice a few days before, and my mom had made the rajma, and i brought home the leftovers the last time I visited my parents. I also had 3 glasses of water.

This isn't the norm. For a snack (which I don't think you can see) was a butter cookie in the shape of a mushroom, with the topped dipped in chocolate. We had gone to a bakery earlier in the day, to put in an order for a cake, and decided to pick up a few treats.

For dinner, we picked up a roasted chicken, and I had the breast, which is my favorite part. I also made fresh basmati rice, and put some pepper and butter on it. I had leftover broccoli from a previous meal, and put butter and pepper on as well. I also made a salad, which wasn't spectacular, I didn't realize we had veges at home when I had planned the salad, so I cut up some romaine lettuce and put some ranch dressing on it. Half of my plate was veges with a 1/4 carbs and a 1/4 protein. I also had 3 glasses of water.

I picked up some oreos today ( indulgence) and I can already tell you, i will be devouring them later.

Hope you all enjoy your Wednesday, see you tomorrow!

Lemon Cookies

Tuesday 12 April 2016

Baking is a passion of mine. I love sweets and love having some sort of pastry sitting on the kitchen table, for people to walk by and nibble on, or just to gaze at.
This month is my boyfriend's birthday, and he loves lemon, so he wants lemon everything. This month i have dedicated every week to something lemon-y, and decided to attempt lemon cookies.
These cookies are soft, brown on the bottom and gooey lemony goodness in the middle.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • juice from 2 lemons
  • Zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2¼ cups flour

You can add a lemon icing on top, by combining powdered sugar and lemon juice. I didn't add this, because I changed the recipe and added a lot more lemon, so I did not feel as though the icing was needed.

Add sugar and butter and mix, then add the egg.
Add lemon juice, zest and vanilla
Add salt, baking powder and flour

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes ( 10 minutes was the perfect time for mine)
It made 36 cookies for me which were a teaspoon in size. After cooling you can add the icing on top.

I got this recipe from pinterest, which has worked out well for me in the past.

Here's the link to the original recipe
http://www.chef-in-training.com/2014/05/lemon-cookies/

Hope you try this recipe soon, it's definitely worth it! Happy Baking!!

A New Begining

First off let me introduce myself, I am Suhani Suri. I am a stay at home mom of a 18 month boy named Kayden. I have blogged in the past but in all honesty I never stuck with it.
My goals with this blog is simple, to talk about mom related things, and things that interest me as well. Everyday will touch on a different topic.... Mommy Mondays, Recipe Tuesday, What I ate Wednesday, Fashion/Makeup Thursday and Fitness Friday.
I am no expert in any of these fields, but I hope my interests and tips help someone along the way...
I hope you stick around and join me on this journey!
